Company Policies

What is the order cancellation policy?

Substitute registrants are welcome and may be named at any time. If you cancel six or more business days prior to the seminar, you will receive a full refund, less a $20.00 service charge per attendee ($30.00 for Canadian registrations). If you cancel within five business days, you are not entitled to a cash refund. However, as a courtesy, we will allow you to apply your payment toward a future Lorman seminar within one year from the date you cancel. Your payment is transferable. Please note that if you do not attend and you do not contact us to cancel as described above, you are responsible for the entire payment.

How late can I register for a seminar?

While pre-registration is encouraged to guarantee a seat, you may register at the door if space is available. If you have not pre-registered, please call our customer service department the day before the seminar to confirm there have been no changes.

What about lunch and parking?

Unless otherwise noted, lunch and parking are on your own. We select seminar locations that have eating establishments within the facility or nearby for your convenience.

What should I wear?

Casual business wear is appropriate and a light jacket or sweater is recommended for your comfort.

I need special accommodations. What should I do?

All of our seminars are held in facilities that are handicap accessible. If you have other needs, please contact our customer service department two weeks prior to the seminar date.

What are your payment methods?

We accept American Express, MasterCard, or VISA. We can also accept purchase orders or invoice you.

What if I can't attend, but want to send someone else in my place?

We can make substitutions at any time. Just call our customer service department and we will take care of everything!

Will I receive course materials?

Yes, you will receive a professionally bound manual at the beginning of the seminar. These materials are prepared specifically for each seminar by the speakers. They serve as a valuable reference back at the office or to share with your colleagues.

How do I obtain verification of attendance for reporting purposes?

All attendees receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the seminar which may be used to verify your participation for meeting professional education requirements.
