Target Audience
This course is best suited to Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Senior Technical Leads with basic knowledge of project management. It is recommended that participants have an understanding of the fundamentals of traditional project management tools and techniques.

Summary
Agile project management solves some critical problems commonly faced on complex, high-change projects. In this intensive, hands-on, three-day workshop, simulations, realistic scenarios and group discussions will be used to teach participants the core techniques of Agile Project Management and the value those techniques can bring to a project.

  • Identify the primary roles within an Agile project team to ensure high motivation and productivity
  • Understand how Agile project planning is an ongoing and incremental approach that adapts to rapid changes.
  • Identify the core processes involved during execution of an Agile project
  • Become familiar with common Agile terminology and meaning
  • Apply essential tools and techniques of Agile PM (e.g. user stories, story points, personas, backlog items, sprints, scrum meetings, retrospectives, etc.)
  • Practice techniques for assessing and communicating an Agile project’s status
  • Recognize the challenges of practicing Agile project management in a culture of traditional project management
