Course Description/Agenda

This Boot Camp provides qualified IT professionals the opportunity to obtain the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance certification and the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Database Administrator 2008 certification.

In this intensive test-preparation program where the goal is certification, you will practice sample questions and take simulated exams using Transcender, the industry-leading test-preparation product. This Boot Camp includes two exam vouchers, along with one free retake voucher for each exam if needed. A fast-paced, rapid review session prior to each exam covers key material, providing comprehensive exam preparation.

You Will Prepare for These Exams:

New certification candidates will take two exams:

  • Exam 70-432: TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance
  • Exam 70-450: PRO: Designing, Optimizing, and Maintaining a Database Administrative Solution using Microsoft SQL Server 2008

Experienced professionals who have already earned the MCITP: Database Administrator, SQL Server 2005 certification, will take one upgrade exam:

  • Exam 70-453: Upgrade: Transition Your MCITP SQL Server 2005 DBA to MCITP SQL Server 2008
