4: Process Improvement Techniques: Introduction and study of a number of models to assist teams to search for and recognize sources of process variation; rebuilding improved processes

5: Planning Projects: Leadership and Guidance Team work to develop company wide improvement capability; components of company environment that supports process improvement

6: Selecting Projects: Leadership and Guidance Team work to select company's pilot projects

7: Implementing Improved Processes: Introduction and study of company issues which promote and restrain company wide improvement capability; discussion of counteractive measures
