Course Description/Agenda


This course is designed to prepare you for the Cisco TelePresence Video Field Engineer for Advanced exam (650-297 PATVFEA) and to help you gain the knowledge and skills to install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot the:

  • Media Services Engine (MSE) 8000
  • Cisco TelePresence Server
  • Cisco TelePresence Video Communications Server (VCS)

You will learn about using Telepresence Interoperability Protocol (TIP), and you'll examine the interoperation between the TIP and SIP endpoints. You will cover provisioning for a videoconferencing solution and its components, and you'll learn to troubleshoot and repair the system if provisioning does not work.
